As EternalParadox said, it isn't a bug, it was just some confusion on saikusa's
part. The decision is still up to her though, so yeah. I'm going to close this
now.
If so, then I guess you've solved the problem yourself. Good job. I'm now going
to close this, feel free to private message any further questions you might have
to me.
This is pretty sad news for me, even though I didn't read the magazine
regularly. This new PiQ isn't even worth reading, it's like a really big TV
guide or something. Ah well, there are still other anime magazines out there, I
guess.
I'm leaning towards the "provocative" pose part. I didn't delete your
scan, but that seems like the most logical reason. And you're right, she doesn't
seem to be undressing.
Post it in the Sandbox for further critique. When you decide it is good enough,
then resubmit it. Only when it has been clearly fixed will it remain in the
gallery, though.
The reason I deleted it is because the edge to the city in the background look
like this: http://i2.tinypic.com/85zw3t3.jpg .
It ruins the rest of the wallpaper, so I'm not just freaking out about one tiny
detail. It's not even hard to fix, just retrace it with the polygonal lasso tool
or something, because the rest of the wallpaper seems to be well formulated and
pretty high quality.
I'm sorry but, it really isn't necessary to flaunt both the vector and wallpaper
when they are practically the same. Decide on one and submit it. I can restore
the vector, but delete the wallpaper, but we don't want both.
They have already basically said it- but, the main reason your wallpaper was
deleted is because your scan is very low quality and it also has a poor
extraction. Post it in the Sand Box and maybe people will give you some tips on
how to clean it up properly.
The main problem with this wallpaper is that none of it blends together- you can
totally tell that the anime scan was not from that background originally, so
what you need to do is tie it all together some how. Some popular methods of
doing this are vectoring the entire thing, or painting / smudging until you get
the desired effect.
I would retrace the buildings in the background all together or scrap them, they
don't do anything for the wallpaper really. However, if you keep them, then
MapleRose did a nice little
tutorial over at Paint-O-Rama on how to do the lights. The river doesn't
look like water enough, why don't you try this water
tutorial? And add more variation in size for those firefly things, they look
odd as they are.
I would use a higher quality and less blurry scan, for one thing. The background
is too simple- just the stars won't cut it. Maybe adding a cloud stock photo and
then painting it to make it blend in with the scan? The stars could also be less
blurry, and what I mean by that is the actual shape of it, rather than just the
glow around it. The title font is kind of boring too, give it some flare if you
know what I mean.
Don't beta test, it's a trap o_o
lol so the mods weren't good enough, huh. :P
Hahahahaha. I haven't been to one before, so I don't have any advice. I hope you have fun, though.
Unfortunately, we can't delete your account. You can, however, just log out and forget about this website.
Yeah, MT has had this layout for like ever.
haha.
Maybe something is in the works. Hmm.
So I'm not too good at this guessing business apparently, haha. All of the wallpapers are good though
except mine, of course.

Are you talking about this wallpaper: Love Today by FallenSamurai

From What happened to some groups ?
All gallery items will be restored after we have figured everything out.
K for Katamari.

I think it was deleted and then restored for some unknown reason. If that's the case, then sorry for the inconvenience.
E is for Eureka 7.
Z is for Zhi Yang Weng.
Keep an eye out for the next Maigetsu! We'll fill ya in for sure.

The alternate version you have uploaded looks better. Closed.

If you take the painting route, then here is a tutorial on painting grass. You could take a look at this tutorial for painting the scan as well.
